As school counselors, our unwavering commitment is to collaborate with all community stakeholders to implement a comprehensive and equitable school counseling program across the academic, college/career, and personal/social domains, ensuring barrier-free access and maximizing success for every student and their individual potential, regardless of background or circumstance. Guided by the ASCA code of ethics, we will be proactive leaders within our community, representing our school and district positively while serving as relentless advocates for the needs and best interests of all students, actively working to dismantle systemic inequities. We will function as skilled problem-solvers and mediators, dedicated to empowering each student with the high-quality education, resources, and individualized support necessary to not only prepare for but thrive in their chosen postsecondary pathways.

Using teamwork and an environment of inclusivity, we will provide academic, personal/social, and postsecondary support to advocate for our students and school community. This will result in enhanced self-awareness and stronger interpersonal skills, and our comprehensive postsecondary guidance will ensure successful transitions to college, career training, or meaningful employment. Through our department’s work with students we will empower every student to achieve their full potential and become engaged, skilled, and responsible contributors to our future society.
